+1.3% for the arcana market in September. Calmer than a mid lane with two babysitters. The drama was in single arcanas.

Arcanas up vs. down in September
Month-end price against the month before, all 18 tradable arcanas.
September was calmer than a mid lane with two supports babysitting it: arcana prices moved +1.3% on average. Calm on average, that is. A few arcanas clearly did not get the memo. 👇
9 of 18 tradable arcanas ended the month higher than they started, and 20,356 copies changed hands on the Steam Community Market. Somebody is buying a lot of skins out there. (It’s not only me. I think.)

Swine of the Sunken Galley went full rampage: +35.8%, from $25.58 to $34.74. That is not a price move, that is a comeback from mega creeps. Did you see it coming? Me neither.

Demon Eater took the fountain dive of the month: -17.8%, now $20.65. Is that a discount or a warning sign? I honestly don’t know. I only know my finger is twitching over the buy button. 👀

The Resurrection of Shen sold 3,331 copies in one month. That is about 111 a day, every day. More reliable than my last-hitting, and that is a low bar.

New all-time highs 🚀
- Fractal Horns of Inner Abysm: $55.03 on September 23, its highest average day on Steam so far.
- Planetfall: $108.10 on September 28, its highest average day on Steam so far.
Buying at the all-time high is like diving the enemy fountain: it can work, it usually doesn’t, and some of us will do it anyway. No names.

So… what now?
My one actual tip, and it costs nothing: before you buy anything on Steam, look at the market comparison. The same arcana is often cheaper somewhere else. And if you just want the smallest number possible, the cheapest arcanas list is sorted for lazy people. I say that with love. I am lazy people.
Which arcana are you eyeing right now? And more important: are you buying it because you play the hero, or because the chart looked sexy? Be honest. 😄
